Position Summary

CEB is seeking a skilled Legal Staff Writer to join our Current Awareness team. The role involves covering major court decisions, legal trends, and news about California's legal community. Responsibilities include creating high-quality content for a sophisticated legal audience, such as daily alerts, blog posts, and in-depth articles. The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer capable of clarifying complex topics, with a deep understanding of the legal industry and a talent for developing sources.

Salary & Compensation

UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers depend on factors including budget, experience, skills, knowledge, education, licensure, certifications, and other considerations. Preferred qualifications include 2-3 years' news experience, legal or business journalism, and familiarity with the California legal industry. A Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communication, English, or related field is required.
