The Role:
A marketing manager develops and executes strategies to promote products or services, manages marketing teams, analyzes campaign performance and coordinates efforts across departments to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
• Support the development, strategy and execution of all marketing initiatives.
• Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.
• Brainstorming advertising and marketing ideas with senior management
• Work closely with advertising or sales team members to ensure marketing campaigns align with product launches and consumer needs.
• Plan and execute brand events or product launches as part of marketing campaigns.
• Assist in the development of a 1–5-year strategic marketing plan.
• Direct the creation and execution of print, electronic media, outdoor, direct mail, and web advertising.
• Development and implementation of strategies to increase casino revenue.
• Oversee the development and on-going implementation of casino website.
• Assist in the creation of special events, promotions, and casino giveaways.
• Writes promotion and special event rules and ensures implementation occurs as designed.
• Actively volunteer in service to the community.
• Ensure all guest problems and concerns are addressed by exceeding the guests' expectations for resolution.
• Maintain strong customer service skills.
• Maintain a complete understanding of the Player’s Club.
• Perform public address announcements as required.
• Ability to communicate with all departments.
• Ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all promotions and events.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• Minimum five years of prior experience in casino marketing, with prior management experience.
• A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or similar field is preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
• Must be creative and innovative in the development of special events, promotions and strategies.
• Ability to lead by setting a professional example and mentoring skills.
• High-level public relations and customer service skills are required
• Excellent written, analytical and verbal communications skills are required
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds
• Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead
