Who We Are Looking For:
Are you an experienced Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic able to perform various functions spanning: routine and non-routine maintenance, avionics work, system troubleshooting and meeting continuing airworthiness requirements for ongoing fleet efforts? Then Aery Aviation, LLC is looking for you!
What You Will Be Doing:
- Troubleshooting all aircraft systems
- Making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
- Performing all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
- Ensuring that we meet all FAA and Safety Requirements
You Must Have:
- A valid FAA Issued A&P Certificate
- Proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Problem solving and organizational skills
- Experience working within the constraints of an organizational quality system.
- Comfortability with reading engineering data including installation, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Experience with Learjet, specifically Lear 35/36 series and Gulfstream GIV.
- The ability to travel domestically and internationally - sometimes for long durations.
- Willing participation in the Drug Free Workplace Drug Testing Program is required.
- The ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on the flight mission requirements.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools and utilities
- The ability to successfully complete a practical assessment at the time of the interview for basic A&P functions
