Overview
We are seeking experienced design professionals with a passion for leadership, innovation, and problem solving to join a long-term, multi-office high-profile Aviation project. The role focuses on leading BIM and digital modeling adoption, implementation, and management at a project level. You will collaborate with the Project Leadership team to establish goals and strategic plans, demonstrating proven experience in leading design teams and external consultants.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the BIM/digital modeling pipeline across all project phases.
- Partner with Regional Design Technology Leaders to monitor model metrics and data analysis.
- Optimize model management for performance and user experience.
- Develop and communicate best practices and protocols.
- Create project-specific BIM execution plans aligned with Gensler standards.
- Develop technology strategies based on project complexity and support lean delivery frameworks.
- Design and develop solutions using scripting and workflows.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and improve communication and transparency.
- Provide project-level support and training on design technology.
- Innovate and research new methods in design technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the building industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM/digital design roles.
- Expertise in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience leading large-scale projects; Design Build experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD, and point cloud coordination.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Twinmotion, and Power BI is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to train and support teams.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
This position can be based in San Francisco, Oakland, or San Jose, CA, with a salary range between $125,000 - $150,000 plus bonuses and benefits, depending on experience.
