The Role
Director of Paid Media
Interdependence is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Paid Media to lead and expand our paid media initiatives. This pivotal role involves crafting high-impact paid media strategies, managing substantial budgets, and driving measurable outcomes for our diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a passion for data-driven performance and a knack for staying ahead of industry trends, ready to elevate our paid media practice to new heights. Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior-level clients, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional strategic guidance on paid media initiatives.
  • Develop tailored paid media strategies that align with clients' business objectives and drive measurable results.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client campaigns, offering innovative solutions to maximize impact.
Campaign Development & Execution
  • Design and execute comprehensive paid media campaigns across platforms, including paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok), search (Google Ads), display, video (YouTube), and programmatic media.
  • Oversee campaign setup, optimization, and performance tracking, ensuring every initiative delivers optimal ROI.
  • Collaborate with creative and account teams to craft cohesive, high-impact campaigns that blend storytelling with performance metrics.
Team Leadership
  • Build, mentor and inspire a team of paid media specialists and freelancers, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Provide clear direction and constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient workflows.
  • Lead by example, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Strategic Insights & Reporting
  • Leverage advanced analytics to uncover actionable insights, using tools like Google Analytics and Google Data Studio to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver clear, compelling performance reports to clients, highlighting key metrics, successes, and actionable recommendations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and new technologies to keep Interdependence's paid media strategies cutting-edge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Blueprint) preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on managing large-scale paid media campaigns across social, search, display, and programmatic platforms.
  • Proven success in driving ROI through strategic budget management and campaign optimization.
  • Deep expertise in platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, TikTok, and programmatic media, paired with proficiency in analytics tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies and results clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • A creative, results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
