Job Description:

The Senior Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the technical marketing of MACOM’s MMIC portfolio. This involves collaboration across functions such as sales, design engineering, and quality assurance to grow revenue, advocate for customers, and serve as a subject matter expert on MACOM’s technologies. Responsibilities include supporting customer visits, driving new product definitions, and enabling sales through collateral, training, and new product launches.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership of new product strategy and roadmap.
  2. Translate customer requirements into new product development recommendations.
  3. Identify market needs and develop product requirements with justified prioritization.
  4. Understand pricing strategies and develop business cases for new products.
  5. Manage programs for custom product developments.
  6. Maintain a rolling sales forecast for four quarters.
  7. Expand opportunity funnel and drive new business growth.
  8. Develop business proposals for internal and external engagements.
  9. Ensure sales teams are equipped with current collateral, training, and roadmaps.
  10. Support customer visits as MMIC subject matter expert.
  11. Coordinate with internal teams to support product line and resolve customer issues.
  12. Maintain awareness of competitors’ capabilities and market positioning.
  13. Execute deliverables for distribution sales, including registrations, shipping, and pricing.
  14. Create product collateral and tools proactively.

Key Competencies and Experience:

  1. Strong understanding of semiconductor device technology and assembly.
  2. Knowledge of RF semiconductor testing, qualification, and reliability.
  3. Understanding of RF semiconductor applications and markets.
  4. Experience influencing cross-functional teams.
  5. Excellent communication skills.
  6. Willingness to travel internationally.
  7. Self-motivated with a drive for results.
  8. Ability to balance technical and commercial perspectives.
  9. Strong analytical skills.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  2. MBA or Business degree preferred.
  3. 5+ years of industry experience.
  4. Experience supporting customers and sales channels.
  5. Experience with product launches and business development.
