POSITION SUMMARY: Bethel Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for marketing and promoting Bethel’s worship, programming and events both internally and externally aligned with Bethel’s vision and mission. The Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for updating and maintaining Bethel’s public image and branding through all forms of communication (print, digital, video, audio) and working with all in the church for consistent branding.

POSITION SUMMARY: Bethel Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for marketing and promoting Bethel’s worship, programming and events both internally and externally aligned with Bethel’s vision and mission. The Communications and Marketing Director is responsible for updating and maintaining Bethel’s public image and branding through all forms of communication (print, digital, video, audio) and working with all in the church for consistent branding.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain Bethel’s social media accounts posting upcoming events, current happenings and responding to comments/inquiries.
- Finish development and maintain Bethel’s website utilizing industry best practices.
- Create graphics for various forms of media to promote Bethel’s worship, programming and events.
- Create marketing materials for Bethel and special events as needed (both print, media and physical items such as t-shirts).
- Oversee photography capture, editing, collection, and review.
- Prepare, produce and publish Bethel’s weekly (email blast, printed overview) and monthly (printed newsletter) communications.
- Prepare, produce and publish Bethel’s Annual Report.
- Update information brochures following a designated rotation.
- Design and produce Lenten materials including Lenten Devotional cover and schedule.
- Engage in planning meetings for upcoming events and programming.
- Evaluate analytics and effectiveness of digital marketing.
- Evaluate communication platforms and examine cost effectiveness.
- Ensure Bethel’s style guide and brand standards are incorporated throughout Bethel. Annually evaluate and update the standards as necessary.
- Serve as backup to Faith Formation Communications Director.
- Promote Women’s Retreat, join the team effort in planning for events such as these
