KBEAR 92.3 (KBRY-FM) in Broken Bow, Nebraska, is seeking a full-time News & Sports Director.

We’re looking for someone passionate about delivering timely, accurate, and engaging local and regional news—and bringing the excitement of high school sports to life.

Responsibilities include:

• Gathering, writing, and editing local and regional news and sports stories
• Covering community meetings and events
• Anchoring and producing newscasts and sportscasts
• Providing play-by-play coverage of high school football, volleyball, and basketball
• Creating content for digital and social media platforms

Qualifications:

• Strong news writing skills
• Proficiency in digital and social media platforms
• Previous news and play-by-play sports experience preferred, video skills a plus
