UnionPark Coffee & Cocktails is hiring: Creative Small Plate Chef in Canton

We are looking for an experienced chef to serve as the Lead Cook in our kitchen with a focus on our savory and evening service. UnionPark has a unique food offering with a focus on small plates and desserts for our evening service. We are not a full service restaurant. We are creating great small plates that pair well with our cocktail menu. This position requires an experienced line cook that can over see a team of 2 or 3. Strong leadership and the ability to work in a fast paced environment is vital. Our ideal applicant has a culinary degree or extensive professional chef experience, superb knife skills, and is serve safe certified.

Lead Cook Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee food preparation for our evening service
• Work with ownership to create new menu items
• Help coordinate kitchen staff schedules
• Stock work stations with supplies and tools
• Delegate cleaning and preparation tasks
• Train and evaluate BOH staff members

Lead Cook Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in culinary arts preferred
• Several years of professional cooking experience
• Experience in lower-level kitchen positions
• Serve safe certified
• Ability to work nights and weekends
