Responsibilities

  • Help potential candidates understand who we are as an employer — either ByteDance or its brands;
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to move candidates through the talent funnel, from awareness to interest, application, and hire;
  • Maintain a pulse on candidate satisfaction and champion employee experiences.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead the creative and strategic development of ByteDance’s global employer brand, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling communication of our mission, vision, values, and talent philosophy;
  • Identify opportunities and challenges in managing multiple employer brands across regions and develop integrated storytelling strategies;
  • Oversee creative campaigns and content strategies that highlight our culture, leadership, and employee experience, aligned with global brand positioning;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft compelling narratives and convert stories into high-quality creative outputs;
  • Guide a team in creating multi-format content tailored to diverse audiences and platforms;
  • Ensure all creative work aligns with brand and talent goals, managing both internal and external resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in creative leadership within B2C, preferably in tech or internet sectors;
  • Strong portfolio in video, storytelling, or campaigns, with experience in documentary or human-centered storytelling;
  • Proficiency in creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro);
  • Excellent project management and collaboration skills, with a deep understanding of employer branding and talent communication;
  • Proven success leading global creative teams and managing multiple projects;
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, adaptable, with strong communication skills in English; multilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Film Production, or related fields;
  • Experience with employer branding metrics and integrated campaigns;
  • Exposure to employee experience, talent acquisition, or internal communications strategies;
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures in a global environment.
