About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance for its News Digital and Non-TV businesses. This key role is pivotal in leading the financial support for various digital and non-TV segments, including direct-to-consumer, digital publishing, events, councils, audio, and select. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner to senior leaders, providing analytical support, and driving growth. Responsibilities include operational forecasting, monthly and quarterly close processes, and leading special projects. The role also involves close collaboration with internal finance teams, ad sales, digital research, and strategy teams to understand the impact of traffic and revenue on financials and operations. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a focus on digital or streaming media finance, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering on multiple assignments, meeting tight deadlines, and leading a team of finance professionals. Strong financial modeling, communication, and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. The role requires an individual with an analytical mindset, curiosity, and initiative, who can leverage financial data to drive strategic decision-making. The position is hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office, and the candidate should be prepared for a future transition to the new publicly traded company.
