We're looking for an experienced
Interior Designer III
to join in our St. Louis office. If you have strong design and technical skills, excel at building client relationships, and are ready to lead projects from concept to completion, you'll fit right in.

Serve as a design leader for interior projects, guiding concepts from programming to final documentation Lead and facilitate programming meetings, balancing design vision, budget, and client priorities Develop and present design concepts and materials to clients, providing clear options for decision-making Oversee the quality and completeness of design documents to ensure alignment with project goals Solve complex technical design issues and develop details that deliver on design intent Prepare and review specifications to achieve best value for the client Mentor junior interior designers, providing guidance on design, technical execution, and professional growth Build and maintain client relationships, representing FGMA at meetings, presentations, and industry events Collaborate closely with project managers to track schedules, budgets, and deliverables Support marketing and business development initiatives within the Municipal practice What You Bring
10+ years of relevant interior design experience, ideally with public projects Degree in Interior Design from an accredited program NCIDQ certification preferred, or actively pursuing Strong portfolio demonstrating both design excellence and technical execution Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D visualization tools Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients and lead discussions Proven ability to mentor and guide less experienced designers Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and sustainable design strategies The Perks
