General Summary:

The Construction Communications Coordinator is responsible for serving the community as the network build and deployment subject matter expert. This role involves proactively providing information to internal teammates, addressing questions, and resolving concerns related to network deployment and construction activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate the execution of all construction-related customer communication, including direct mail, door tags, and yard signs;
  • Contact existing and potential customers regarding any problems or concerns resulting from construction;
  • Research and develop appropriate solutions to complex and sensitive customer-facing issues;
  • Document concerns, research practices, and resolutions to improve processes;
  • Work closely with the Construction Communication Manager to generate and maintain performance reports;
  • Act as a point of contact for construction contractors to ensure communication with appropriate company departments;
  • Collaborate with marketing and print vendors to maintain supply of all materials;
  • Travel to customer sites, project areas, business events, and other Ritter Communications locations as required;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of company products and services;
  • Proficiency with office equipment and software such as computers, various programs, and telephone systems;
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, facilitation, and public speaking;
  • Strategic thinking, strong decision-making, and investigative skills;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Leadership and management skills;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Sound decision-making abilities based on available information;
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments;
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail;
  • Must be able to travel for business and possess a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven success in building strong customer relationships, managing escalations, and driving towards desired outcomes. Experience with Smartsheet, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
