Talascend is currently seeking a Designer CREO for a leading automotive manufacturer located in Troy, Michigan.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for design and release of vehicle sub-systems and components from initial concept through to production release.
- Participate in design reviews based on program needs to ensure quality and timely delivery of designs and communicating design status and open issues.
- Maintain close contacts (through WebEx, emails and phone) with assigned customer base to capture design and development.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands on CREO experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle packaging.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter, digital methods and tools preferred.
- Candidate should have knowledge and skills in the development and packaging of HEV / PHEV components and be able to resolve and develop feasible solutions.
- Candidate must be a self-starter, motivated and works with minimal guidance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, Lead design reviews with various stakeholders to communicate status, issues and next steps.
- Highly focused and adaptable to new challenges.
- Must have excellent team work abilities and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent skills with Microsoft Office software.
