Principal UX Designer – Financial Services & Payments onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas

Our client’s stores serve hundreds of millions of customers every week. The Financial Services & Payments team creates great customer moments for managing and transacting for customers in all omni-channel experiences, ensuring that the customer has a fast, easy, and friction-free experience to finalize the shopping journey. We work across multiple disciplines where UX, Process design, Industrial design, and Service design all come together to create a complete and holistic experience. We are looking for a creative and talented Principal UX Product Designer who can think across multiple disciplines to create holistic workflows. We use imagination, logic, and collaborative workshopping to generate new ideas, utilize cutting-edge technology paired with proven standards to change how our stores work. We prototype innovations in our test labs and partner with research to rapidly iterate designs live in one of our 4000+ stores.

  • Excellent visual craft, presentation skills, and the ability to solve difficult problems gracefully.

  • A proven track record of shipping successful products while managing multiple stakeholders efficiently.
  • Ability to explore a variety of design ideas and iterate quickly.
  • Experience facilitating design sprints, workshops, or research sessions.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, embracing constraints and the unknown; enjoy discovering and defining the problem space.
  • Authenticity, strong communication, listening skills, and the ability to connect with people with kindness, humility, and empathy.
  • Strong storytelling skills to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial Design, Digital Design, HCI, Information Architecture, or similar, with 7+ years of product design experience.
