Supervisor Title Chair, Art and Design; Professor of Art and Design

Description of Job Duties

• Assist with general office tasks such as filing, labeling, scanning, copying, etc.
• Assist the department technician with duties such as routine cleaning of the studios and checking inventory of materials.
• Help organize and install the student artwork collections
• Organize the bulletin boards in the art department.
• Organization and cleaning in the various studios: Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, Mac Lab.
• Assist in the Media Resource Room.
• Distribute posters and flyers on campus.
• Other duties as assigned.

Possible, but not required:

• Assist in designing flyers, posters, and pamphlets for the department.
• Potential updates to the website.

Job Qualifications

Minimum:

• Must be currently enrolled as a North Central College student in good academic standing.
• Well-organized.
• Possess strong attention to details.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and perform various duties with minimal-to-moderate direction.

Preferred:

• Majoring or minoring in Art and Design at NCC .
