Content Strategist (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a part-time Creative Content Lead who can bring humor, personality, and fresh viral ideas to life across TikTok, Instagram and other social channels. You’ll be the person pitching concepts, filming and editing videos, and tapping into trends that get people talking and engaging with our brands.

In addition to creating new content, you’ll mine our archive of live show footage, fan videos, and past campaigns, reworking them into scroll-stopping, shareable posts. The goal? Grow our reach, spark excitement, and make our audience laugh while they fall deeper in love with our shows and brands.

This role is perfect for someone who knows what makes content pop, thrives on trends, and can balance quick-turnaround creativity with smart strategy.

Responsibilities

• Pitch and develop creative video concepts designed for virality.
• Film and edit short-form content with humor, personality, and cultural awareness.
• Appear on camera and bring energy to the content when needed.
• Search and adapt content from our show archive into viral-ready videos.
• Spot and jump on trends quickly, tailoring them to our brands.
• Provide quick-turnaround posts around events, shows, or trending topics.
• Collaborate with the team to plan content calendars around big moments.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience growing a TikTok or Instagram account (personal, agency, or brand).
• Strong on-camera presence and confidence in filming self-led content.
• Ability to create a high volume of viral ready posts in a short period of time.
• A track record of creative, funny ideas that resonate online.
• Basic editing skills (phone editing apps, CapCut, Canva, or similar).
• Passion for music, nightlife, and pop culture (bonus if you love emo, disco, Broadway, or indie).
• Organized, proactive, and able to turn ideas into content quickly.

Details

• Contract role: approx. 2–3 days/week
• Compensation: $20–$30/hr ($2,000–$3,000/month depending on hours and experience)

Remote (NYC preferred)
