Assembly has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President, Creator on the Microsoft account. This vital position will lead the daily account management of the Influencer and Content Creator Programs for one of the world's most recognizable brands. It will focus on driving brand strategy on how we engage with digital influencers and content creators to help promote Microsoft's products and services among their ever-growing and significant audiences. This position requires strong account management, project management skills, the ability to supervise a busy account, including managing staff and serving as a daily counterpart to clients, and, in the background, working with influencers and/or content creators.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Assembly's strategic vision in the cross-platform video/digital influencer space
  • Oversee strategic planning and consultation for internal teams and external clients
  • Evolve data and measurement frameworks for our campaigns to demonstrate success and differentiate our capabilities
  • Establish processes to support and nurture rapid growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients activating influencer marketing campaigns and develop prospective clients
  • Build strong relationships with influencers, talent agencies, multi-channel networks, and other partners to ensure long-term success
  • Share expertise and advise clients on new campaign ideas to generate continued results
  • Collaborate with all teams to ensure campaign success
  • Participate actively in account and campaign management, working with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Elevate influencer and brand integration opportunities across teams including account, creative, production, and strategy

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage and develop relationships across the social influencer landscape, assisting in developing campaigns within larger integrated strategies across various client verticals
  • Minimum 8 years in content development and creation, with at least 5 years working directly with influencers in marketing, talent management, or sales roles at a Multi-Channel Network or similar agency
  • Strong understanding of social media, influencers, content creators, and the influencer marketing ecosystem, with contacts at various levels
  • Experience working with all tiers of influencers (micro, mid, top, traditional experts) and understanding their nuances
  • Ability to work with clients and manage teams to create strategic influencer campaigns that meet KPIs and drive ROI
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing best practices, platforms, tools, and processes
  • Experience integrating influencer work across paid, earned, owned, and creative teams
  • Experience managing teams, setting goals, and meeting deadlines
  • A passion for pop culture and its integration into consumer brands
  • Proactive in sharing and adopting new ideas and best practices
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts through workshops and educational sessions, empowering others
  • Excellent collaboration skills across practices and teams
  • Experience in new business development, including proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and pitching

$140,000 - $160,000 a year

Salary will be based on education, experience, skills, location, performance, and organizational needs. Compensation includes bonuses, benefits, and other rewards.
