Role and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with design to ensure TOP samples match the approved PP samples, inspecting aspects such as weight, print, and material execution with support from design. Ensure all products meet the same size and quality standards as the approved PP.
- Verify that vendors produce products correctly. Accept or reject finished samples and follow up on rejected items for necessary revisions.
- Work with internal teams to troubleshoot product or packaging issues.
- Review packaging artwork, including initial email review and actual labels, ensuring color accuracy (Pantone), legal information correctness, paper quality, retail details, barcodes, and proper grading.
- Ensure packaging is properly secured to prevent issues at retail.
- Communicate with sales and customers regarding customer-specific TOPs, reviewing vendor guides for compliance, and adhering to customer protocols, including working within customer portals as needed.
- Create and maintain a library of sample requirements for each customer.
- Track TOPs shared with customers, ensuring receipt and following up on comments, sharing feedback with vendors.
- Use product milestone reports to monitor packaging and samples, ensuring timely delivery and recording receipt and feedback.
- Assist in ensuring on-time deliveries by sharing relevant details with production.
- Organize paperwork, labels, and samples efficiently for future reference.
- Monitor internal and external emails to facilitate effective communication.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using a Pantone book.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively.

NY Pay Transparency:
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
