Responsibilities

The Director of Business Development and Marketing is responsible for organizing, directing, and managing all aspects of business development and marketing communications. This includes developing, implementing, monitoring, updating, and analyzing the organization’s strategic business development and marketing plans. In partnership with the CEO, the director will focus on increasing hospital admissions, developing clinical programs and service lines, business planning, physician and community relations, marketing, communications, post-acute strategy, and senior outreach. The role also involves creating tracking mechanisms to measure increases in volume, growth, and revenue by program, service line, or physician, as well as managing media relations, website, and social media strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Development, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in related fields such as business development, marketing, communications, or PR.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare management experience.
  • Preferably 2+ years in an acute care setting; experience in post-acute care is a plus.
  • Experience with project and program management.
  • Knowledge in strategic planning, marketing, media relations, and market research.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, self-driven, with critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
