Position Overview: i3 is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Missile Defense Agency Information Management and Software Services (AIMSS) effort. The mission involves designing and implementing a Missile Defense System with multiple layers of protection. The Technical Writer will translate complex technical information into accessible documentation to help users understand and utilize products, systems, and processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate various technical documents, reports, training manuals, and standard operating procedures.
2. Design and display graphics for documentation.
3. Create technical and scientific illustrations for presentations and publications.
4. Gather and organize program-related information.
5. Collaborate with technical teams and business partners.
6. Contribute to deliverables and performance metrics.
7. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and quick learning ability.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma and at least six years of relevant technical writing experience, or two years of related experience with an Associate’s degree.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, or be willing to relocate.
• Active Secret clearance required; must maintain security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
