Job Summary

Visionary Marketing Director wanted to unify and lead all marketing efforts—across all areas of the Entertainment Group. As Marketing Director, you’ll oversee the full spectrum of marketing strategy and execution, leading and unifying campaign planning across social media, digital, branding, press, advertising, promotions, influencer outreach, experiential marketing, product rollouts, and content launches. This role brings together all marketing departments to ensure brand consistency, cross-platform synergy, and high-impact audience engagement. You’ll manage internal teams and outside partners, develop go-to-market strategies for major releases and launches, and track performance across channels. A deep understanding of entertainment culture, audience behavior, and brand building is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight: Oversee all areas of marketing, activating internal and external teams.
  • Social Media: Strategy, content planning, publishing, and audience engagement across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.).
  • Digital Marketing: Paid media, CRM, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, and performance analytics.
  • Branding: Visual identity, tone of voice, positioning, and consistency across all properties.
  • Public Relations: Media strategy, press outreach, interview coordination, and reputation management.
  • Influencer Outreach: Partner identification, relationship building, campaign execution, and tracking.
  • Experiential Marketing: Live event activations, fan experiences, trade shows, and brand pop-ups.
  • Product Rollouts: Go-to-market planning for albums, films, books, merch, subscriptions, and branded content.
  • Content Launches: Cross-platform coordination of videos, trailers, editorial, social assets, and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of marketing experience in entertainment, media, or lifestyle brands, with a strong emphasis on music, film, or publishing.
  • Proven success leading multi-channel campaigns across social media, digital, Press, promotions, advertising, branding, and influencer strategy.
  • Deep understanding of audience behavior, content trends, and the entertainment/media ecosystem—especially within youth, subcultural, and rock/alternative spaces.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing internal teams, agencies, and cross-functional partners.
  • Hands-on expertise with major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Meta Ads, Google Ads) and marketing tools (CRM, email, analytics dashboards).
  • Track record of building and scaling brand voice, identity, and engagement across platforms.
  • Experience launching physical and digital products—albums, films, collectibles, events, subscriptions, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp creative eye and a strategic mindset.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment with multiple brands and overlapping launch schedules.
  • Passion for the Sumerian ethos and mission—someone who lives and breathes music, storytelling, and creative culture.
