Are you known for your quick wit? Your all-consuming obsession with culture? Your ability to move at the speed of the comment section? Paradowski is looking for a Social Media Copywriter who lives and breathes social media and understands the power of language in shaping brand voice, sparking conversation, and building community—but also approaches the work with conceptual strength and strategic clarity. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is equally comfortable writing a clever caption, jumping on a trend, or adapting copy to feel fresh, relevant, and authentic across platforms.
This role blends two key responsibilities:
- Community voice: bringing brands to life in real time through comments, DMs, and reactive engagement.
- Content creation: concepting and writing timely, culturally relevant, and platform-native copy that fuels engagement and builds community.
As part of Paradowski’s creative team, you’ll have access to our creative and technology resources, including AR experts, 3D artists, designers, strategists, and video production.
What You'll Do
- Delve deeply into the brands you write for; understanding their character voice as an actor would their part—how they would respond in certain situations, what they wouldn’t respond to at all, their interests, etc. Applying this understanding to your decision making and writing, being able to speak to why it works, and continuously, thoughtfully exploring new situations.
- Write platform-native copy for posts, captions, replies, and conversations across TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest—and even emerging gaming-centric spaces like Roblox.
- Act as the brand’s voice in high-visibility engagement moments.
- Concept and pitch ideas rooted in trends, culture, and brand insights.
- Partner with designers, motion teams, editors, account, and strategists to develop everything from captions and scripts to supers, end cards, and CTA frames—contributing from storyboard to final post.
- Work within social media management tools like Sprinklr to publish responses to brand engagements with users.
- Monitor and manage community interactions—balancing humor, empathy, and professionalism in every response.
- Remix UGC, memes, imagery, and short-form video to spark conversation and relevance, all in line with the brand character.
- Use social listening and performance data insights from your team to test hooks, CTAs, and formats, iterating to improve engagement.
- Stay ahead of platform shifts, fandom trends, and cultural moments—and share insights to guide creative thinking.
What You Bring
- 2–4 years writing for social (in-house or agency), with a portfolio that shows sharp copy and platform fluency.
- Deep curiosity for online culture and fandoms—even ones outside your own interests.
- A knack for wit, timing, and adapting voice across platforms.
- Comfort writing at the speed of the feed when it’s called for, while staying strategic.
- Interest in inclusive marketing and authentically representing diverse voices.
- Basic familiarity with tools like Adobe Express, Photoshop, CapCut, or similar (and the willingness to keep learning).
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while staying organized and detail-oriented.
- A collaborative spirit and eagerness to push creative boundaries.
Nice to Haves
- Experience managing both B2B and B2C social accounts.
- Familiarity with paid social strategies and execution.
- Experience with engagement escalation or crisis management.
- Comfort pulling social performance metrics to inform reports and best practices.
Successful candidates will have a passion for pushing the boundaries of social media to reach client goals, collaborating with strategy and creative teams to test new tactics and turn good ideas into great ones.
