In-Office Requirement: 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday in Soho Office)
Compensation: Annual Salary Range $90k - $120k
About the Role
The Growth & Media Manager will own Bubble's paid media strategy and execution across both DTC and retail channels, ensuring that every media dollar is driving measurable sales impact. While DTC media is a smaller piece of the mix, retail media is a key growth driver for Bubble — spanning Ulta Media Network, Target Roundel, Walmart Connect, and Amazon Ads (in partnership with our Amazon agency).
This role requires a highly analytical, data-driven marketer who can build and optimize media plans, track performance, and drive ROI across multiple stakeholders. You'll act as the bridge between Bubble's ecommerce, retail, and marketing teams to ensure paid media investments are aligned, efficient, and growth-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Strategy & Execution
- Own and manage all paid media campaigns across DTC and retail, including planning, buying, optimization, and reporting.
- Develop a holistic media framework that balances upper funnel awareness with lower funnel conversion.
- Lead strategy and execution for Ulta Media Network, Target Roundel, Walmart Connect, and other RMNs.
- Partner with retail teams to align retail media plans with sell-in priorities and retailer joint business plans.
- Amazon Ads: Work closely with Bubble's Amazon agency to shape strategy, manage performance, and ensure campaigns are optimized to deliver growth, while holding the agency accountable for execution.
- Criteo: Manage strategy and execution across Criteo campaigns, ensuring spend is optimized to drive retail.com sales and support retailer priorities.
- Work with retailer account managers to complete and deliver retail media briefs, including defining audience segmentation, campaign objectives, and channel mix (e.g., Meta, TikTok, search), ensuring strategies are aligned with retailer priorities and optimized for performance.
- Manage Bubble's full funnel paid media mix across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Google Search, and YouTube, as well as retargeting and prospecting campaigns for hellobubble.com.
- Build and optimize campaigns that drive both customer acquisition and retention, balancing efficiency (ROAS, CAC) with brand awareness and brand equity.
- Partner with creative teams to brief and test high-performing content tailored to each platform and audience segment.
- Stay on top of emerging ad formats and platform updates, proactively testing new opportunities to unlock incremental growth.
- Integrate learnings from DTC campaigns into broader media and CRM strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and performance insights across channels.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Ecommerce on email and SMS strategy by sharing insights from paid media, helping shape segmentation, and supporting creative and offer testing.
- Ensure consistency of messaging across paid and owned channels, especially during major launches and promotions.
- Own paid media reporting, providing clear visibility on spend, CAC, ROAS, and retail sales lift.
- Drive test-and-learn frameworks to continuously improve efficiency and unlock new growth opportunities.
- Partner with the Senior Director of Ecommerce to align paid and organic search strategies, leveraging paid search insights to inform SEO keyword planning and optimization.
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Ecommerce, retail account leads, retail marketing, and marketing to ensure paid media supports channel priorities.
- Partner with finance to forecast and track spend, ensuring budgets are used effectively.
- 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, paid media, or performance marketing (consumer brand or agency side).
- Deep understanding of both DTC paid channels (search, social, retargeting) and retail media networks.
- Strong analytical skills — able to translate data into actionable insights and clear reporting.
- Hands-on campaign management experience (comfortable working in platforms as well as setting strategy).
- Collaborative, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team.
