The Product Photographer will be responsible for capturing high-quality images for use in print, digital, and social media platforms. This role involves photographing products, occasional events and editorial content while maintaining brand standards and visual storytelling excellence.

Key Responsibility Areas

Photography

• Capture high-resolution photographs for use in catalogs, marketing materials, social and online platforms.
• Use photography equipment, such as cameras, lighting, and tripods, to capture high-quality images of products. This includes adjusting settings like exposure, aperture, and shutter speed to achieve the desired results.
  
  

Product Knowledge

• Develop a good understanding of the products being photographed to effectively showcase their unique features and details in a brand appropriate manner.
  
  

Styling & Composition

• Arrange products in a visually appealing manner, paying close attention to composition, lighting, and background. Choose appropriate props or settings to enhance product presentation.
  
  

Lighting

• Set up and adjust lighting equipment, including natural and artificial lighting sources, to achieve optimal illumination and eliminate shadows or reflections on products.
  
  

Camera & Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain and clean photography equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
  
  

Post-Processing, Cropping & Sizing

• Edit and retouch product images using photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom) to enhance colors, remove imperfections, and prepare images for final use.
• Resize and crop images as needed to meet specific requirements for different platforms, such as e-commerce websites or social media
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of color theory and the ability to ensure accurate color representation in product images.
• Experience with e-commerce photography and knowledge of best practices for this niche is a plus.
• Proficiency in using digital cameras and photography equipment, as well as knowledge of lighting techniques.
• Familiarity with photo editing software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for composition and aesthetics.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and teams.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Experience in videography or multimedia production a plus.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Education
