Overview
The Physician Promotion Specialist is a key member of the Physician Engagement team, responsible for developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies to support physician and practice growth, patient acquisition, revenue enhancement, and reputation management. This role requires autonomous handling of multiple projects, with a focus on detail, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. Reports to the Director of Physician Engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing plans for new physicians and practices, including execution and analysis.
- Coordinate CME event promotions and communications to increase attendance and awareness among medical staff and affiliates.
- Manage physician reputation promotion initiatives across the medical group.
- Gather and edit content for service line newsletters, ensuring brand consistency and timely distribution.
- Support physician marketing requests throughout the health system.
- Create and distribute marketing collateral supporting physicians and services.
- Assist in executing and measuring marketing campaigns, providing reports on performance.
- Collaborate with partners and external vendors for project needs and operational management.
- Maintain reports and presentations, ensuring brand standards are met.
- Provide copywriting and editing support as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, healthcare management, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience; 5 years if no degree.
- Proficiency in multi-channel marketing and digital analytics tools.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends (CRM, social media, SEM, SEO).
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, and content creation.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
