  • Facilitates easier content management and page layout creation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new static websites based on the design system and its components.
  • Rewrite and migrate content and functionality from existing websites (including WordPress) to static site generators.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, content strategists, and stakeholders to translate mockups into functional, responsive, and accessible web pages.
  • Ensure adherence to HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA, ADA, Section 508).
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Integrate with backend systems or APIs as needed; consider using a headless CMS where appropriate.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies, static site generation, and accessibility standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.

Required Skills – MUST HAVES:

  • Knowledge of Bootstrap, Angular, and similar CSS frameworks (familiarity is helpful).
  • Understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and building accessible websites.
  • Experience with design systems and component-based development; familiarity with Storybook and Figma is a plus.
  • Experience with WordPress, Angular, React, and other CMS platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • A commitment to creating high-quality, user-focused digital experiences.
