Position: Graphic Designer III
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension
Location: San Francisco, CA (Candidates must be located in SF and available for occasional work in the office.)
Pay Range: $60/hr to $65/hr
Summary: Our client is looking for a customer-focused graphic designer to join their web design team for a month-long contract. The ideal candidate will deliver clean, web-ready designs based on existing style guides and brand guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, web expertise, design ability, typographic skills, and attention to detail are essential. Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders is required.
Online Portfolio of Work is REQUIRED.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in a web production environment
- BA/BS in Design or equivalent
- Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills
- Proficient in Illustrator and Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript is a plus
- Retail web experience is a plus
- Illustration skills are a plus
Responsibilities include:
- Designing branded promotional graphics
- Optimizing digital images for download efficiency
- Developing graphic templates and style guides
- Managing multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
