Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated AI Animator & Creative Producer to join our team. This role is perfect for a creative professional with 2-3 years of experience who is eager to build a career in the exciting, emerging field of generative AI content creation.
Reporting to the Head of Production, you will have the unique opportunity to own the entire production pipeline, transforming scripts into fully-realized animated shorts. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Visual Storytelling: Translate written scripts into compelling visual narratives, creating dynamic storyboards and detailed shot lists that serve as the blueprint for production.
AI-Powered Art Direction: Drive the visual development process using AI image generation tools like Midjourney to design and maintain consistent 2D/3D characters, props, and environments.
Generative Animation: Bring static images to life by leveraging generative AI video tools (e.g., Runway) to create fluid and expressive animations.
Audio Production: Manage the full audio landscape, from generating compelling voiceovers with AI tools (e.g., ElevenLabs) to sourcing and integrating licensed music and sound effects that enhance the story.
Video Post-Production: Own the final assembly and editing process, weaving together all visual and audio elements into polished, engaging videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Workflow Innovation: Continuously research, experiment with, and implement new AI tools and workflows to improve creative quality and production efficiency.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)
Must-Haves:
2-3+ years of experience in a creative role such as an Illustrator, Motion Designer, or Video Producer.
A strong portfolio showcasing your skills in design, visual storytelling, and video production. (A link to your portfolio is required for consideration).
High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Hands-on experience with, or a demonstrable and passionate interest in, AI generative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, or similar).
A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage projects independently from concept to completion.
Alignment with the mission and values of a faith-based organization.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience creating content specifically for a children's audience.
Traditional animation or motion graphics experience.
Advanced prompt engineering skills for AI-generated assets.
