Job Description
Holden Luntz Gallery is a blue-chip photography gallery located on Worth Avenue. We’ve served collectors and institutions for over 25 years with a focus on excellence, professionalism, and care. We’re seeking a full-time Art Handler & Logistics Coordinator with prior art handling experience to join our close-knit team.
About the Role:
This position requires hands-on installation, packing, and transportation of fine art photographs, as well as coordination of shipping and logistics. Candidates must be familiar with best practices in fine art handling, used by galleries, museums, and professional art services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle, pack, and install artwork in galleries, private homes, and offices
- Prepare condition reports and organize storage areas
- Drive local deliveries using a Sprinter van
- Coordinate shipping quotes and work with external logistics vendors
- Maintain clean, organized gallery and warehouse spaces
- Track and inventory packing materials and shipping supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous art handling experience is required
- Valid Florida driver’s license and comfort driving a Sprinter van
- Proficiency with hand and power tools; strong safety awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs independently and 75+ lbs as a team
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
Schedule:
- Full-time, 5 days/week from 10 AM to 6 PM
- Summer: Tuesday–Saturday
- Season (Nov–May): Monday–Saturday, with one weekday off
