Supv Content & Collaboration Specialist
Help As a SUPV CONTENT & COLLABORATION SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-14 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Collaborate with senior staff members to gather, analyze, and prioritize information for the CJCS's review, ensuring alignment with strategic defense objectives and priorities.
- Review and refine materials to ensure they are well-organized, factually accurate, and formatted to meet executive standards.
- Manage the coordination and flow of information between the Joint Staff, Services, and Combatant Commands to support informed decision-making.
- Optimize knowledge sharing processes and systems within the Joint Staff to enhance communication, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement best practices for information management and knowledge sharing across the Joint Staff and collaborate with the Services and Combatant Commands to promote these practices.
- Develop and maintain templates, guidelines, and resources for creating high-quality executive summaries and read-ahead materials.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of information-sharing tools and platforms, ensuring timely access to critical data for decision-makers.
- Provide advice and support to staff on best practices for synthesizing and presenting complex information in a format suited for senior leadership.
- Support cross-functional collaboration within the Joint Staff to identify process improvements and streamline workflows related to executive-level information sharing.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen

Qualifications:
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service:
- Providing high-level administrative support, particularly in roles that require synthesizing information and preparing clear and concise summaries to help drive informed decisions.
- Creating or improving knowledge sharing processes and systems within an organization.
- Recommending tools, platforms, and practices that encourage collaboration and sharing of information across teams and departments.
- Guiding the adoption of new technologies that improve content capture, storage, and retrieval (e.g., AI, machine learning, chatbots).
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
