At CESO, a Senior Designer is responsible for developing designs for complete architectural projects, including coordination of civil, mechanical, and electrical systems. You will also train Designers and Lead Designers. Your primary responsibilities include: Drawing detailed scale plans for structures, installations, and construction projects based on concepts, sketches, and design guidelines from municipalities and architects. Designing and preparing 2D and 3D construction drawings using CAD and BIM software. Creating complete architectural construction drawings using independent judgment in CAD and Revit. Applying company and AHJ standards to all designs and layouts. Developing schematic concepts aligned with client programs. Interpreting and modifying data from subconsultant drawings and reports. Converting electronic files into CAD files. Ensuring all drawings comply with company standards. Researching design options and code compliance issues. Providing high-quality customer service and attending client meetings. Performing redline markups and reviewing drawings before submission. Observing construction activities for quality assurance. Coordinating work with team members and mentoring junior staff. Performing additional project and supervisory duties as assigned. Position requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design with 10+ years of experience, or 15+ years of related experience without a degree. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D rendering, photo editing software, Newforma, and Microsoft Office is required. Ability to travel is also necessary.
