We are located in Powhatan Virginia where our luxury showroom and state of the art fabrication facilities are located.

Job Summary

The marketing Assistant is a highly motivated, multi-tasking, and goal-oriented individual. They manage multiple priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment with strict attention to detail. They possess strong interpersonal skills in order to maintain excellent working relationships with customers, co-workers, and vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department's activities
  • Provide project support to the Director of Marketing for a variety of marketing programs.
  • Provide assistance with developing, implementing, and monitoring various marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the production, organization, and management of marketing materials and collateral
  • Assist with reporting on key marketing metrics.
  • Assist with providing content for different platforms such as social media, website, and various marketing collateral.
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Assist in the organizing and coordination of promotional events, trade shows, sponsorships, company events, internal events and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Additional duties and tasks as requested

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, business, or related field
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing is a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Sharepoint etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and applications is a plus
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Ability to spot emerging trends
  • Digital photography and video editing experience a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with copy-editing abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, critical, and creative thinking skills
