News Photographer Job at NAB Leadership Foundation in Winston-Salem

WXLV/WMYV is seeking a creative, full-time News Photographer who can deliver compelling stories beyond just capturing images. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization. Responsibilities include covering daily news, in-depth features, and investigative stories. Equipment used includes HD media cards, with editing done on desktops and laptops. Strong editing skills in non-linear systems, excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for storytelling are essential.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
• Team player capable of producing quality stories under tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles
• Ability to shoot and edit general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages
• Passion for digital news gathering
• Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly
