Lifestyle Videographer Job at Nexstar Media Group Inc. in Knoxville

This is a great opportunity to showcase your creative skills for Knoxville’s best lifestyle show. Living East Tennessee is a daytime talk show on WATE-TV focusing on local events, organizations, and various businesses in and around our region. We also have regular cooking segments, highlighting different chefs and restaurants. We are looking for a talented videographer and editor to elevate our story telling and help the team create fun content. We’d love to add your creativity and passion for creating content to our excellent team.

• Work closely with the Creative Services Director to complete assigned duties.
• Shoot and edit lifestyle segments with our storyteller, assist on sales projects, shoot and cultivate nat sound videographer packages and other video projects assigned.
• Produce, light, shoot and edit.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Complete projects on time.
• Serve as a backup producer when needed in ENPS
• Be organized and have good project management skills.
• Help book guests, assist in studio during shows and perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient with Adobe Premiere. Also familiar with other computer software applications (ex: Adobe Suite, Microsoft).
• Possess strong video production skills utilizing new and changing technology and equipment. Working knowledge of cameras, lighting equipment and audio gear.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with all departments.
• Must be able to provide a reel of work examples- please include with your resume for consideration.

Education/Experience: Associate degree preferred or industry related production experience.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Free flowing creative environment with the ability to stay on top of multiple projects. Must be able to lift equipment such as cameras, tripods, lights, etc.Equipment weight varies. But must be able to lift 50lbs.
