Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

The Washington Times is seeking an experienced Video Producer to create exceptional live and on-demand digital news content for our website, social media platforms, TV broadcasts and other endeavors. We are looking for ways to increase and expand reader engagement through creative and compelling videos on our channels.

The Video Editor/ Producer must have the ability to execute all phases of video creation from pre- to post-production. The ideal candidate must have sharp news judgment and advanced video storytelling techniques. Must possess the skills to produce video that will engage and expand readership. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must. Must possess high journalistic standards and work well under pressure while managing multiple projects.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in video production, film, broadcasting or a related field and a minimum of five years working in broadcast or live event production. Experience in filming and audio engineering in a newsroom environment preferred.
