About the Opportunity

The College of Arts, Media and Design at Northeastern University is seeking Part-Time Lecturers for the Fall 2025 semester.

The lecturer will teach undergraduate courses in art, media, or design fundamentals, including drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic, information, interaction, or experience design, animation, video arts, photography, visual studies, or art history. Courses offered will depend on enrollment, funding, and departmental needs. Starting dates are in January, May, July, and September.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess an MFA or equivalent terminal degree and have at least two years of successful college teaching experience. Art, media arts, and design candidates should have active careers with current exhibitions, publications, or creative practices, along with relevant teaching experience. Candidates must be capable of engaging students at various levels of study effectively.

Pay Range

The pay rate begins at $2,085 per credit hour.
