We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and highly organized Social & Content Strategist to elevate The Aesthetic Society ’s presence across digital platforms. This role leads content strategy and day-to-day execution for our social media and content channels—supporting membership growth and engagement, consumer education, and promotional campaigns for initiatives and events like, The Aesthetic MEET, Symposiums, and the Aesthetic Society Academy and nurturing a sense of community building where they perceive value.

This is a hands-on role with a strong creative component. In addition to content planning and copywriting, this person will be responsible for light graphic production tasks—such as resizing artwork, adapting content for various formats (social media, email, PowerPoint, print), and working within brand templates. The strategist will also provide onsite social media and content support at select Aesthetic Society meetings and events, including capturing behind-the-scenes footage, posting real-time updates, and assisting with live content planning.

The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with the technical skills to execute efficiently and consistently.

  • Develop and implement strategic content plans across The Aesthetic Society’s consumer-facing and professional-facing channels
  • Write, edit, and schedule social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube) tailored to each platform
  • Monitor performance analytics, track KPIs, and make data-informed recommendations
  • Maintain and manage a content calendar that supports organizational goals and campaign timelines
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics across platforms to continuously optimize content and campaign performance
  • Test, learn, and iterate in concert with creative agency and any outside digital firms supporting organization and its growth marketing initiatives
  • Resize and adapt creative assets for social, email, PowerPoint, and print formats
  • Build basic PowerPoint slides (e.g., announcements, QR codes, event info) with clear layout and consistent visual identity
  • Collaborate with creative agency and freelancers on high-level creative needs while owning day-to-day design tasks
  • Coordinate cross-departmentally to support educational programs, membership initiatives, and event promotion
  • Contribute to defining and maintaining brand tone and visual identity across all channels
  • Provide onsite support at Aesthetic Society events—capture live content, assist with social coverage, and ensure brand alignment in real time

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to analyze data and adapt strategies based on performance insights
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media strategy, content creation, or digital communications—preferably in a nonprofit, healthcare, or association setting
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Design/layout skills and experience resizing graphics or building clean, on-brand PowerPoint slides
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines across multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the aesthetic space or interest in medicine, education, or professional communities is a plus
