JOB SUMMARY
Community Bible Church(CBC) is seeking a highly creative and resourceful DigitalContent Creator to join our Communications & Marketing Team. Thisfull-time, in-person role at our Central Campus in San Antonio, TX focuses onideating, capturing, and editing high-quality photo and video content thatamplifies CBC’s mission to reach, teach, and help people in Jesus’ name.
The Digital ContentCreator is responsible for producing compelling visuals for CBC’s social media,website, music releases, print, seasonal campaigns, and in-servicestorytelling. This role requires both creative and technical expertise, strongorganizational skills, and a passion for using content to share the hope ofJesus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Capture,edit, and deliver short-form video and photography for CBC’s digital platforms,in-service content, and marketing campaigns
- Ownthe creative lifecycle, including brainstorming, planning, shooting, editing,and final delivery
- Workclosely with the Creative Manager to maintain a cohesive visual identityconsistent with CBC’s style and branding
- Proactivelybring fresh ideas for visual storytelling, pitching shoot concepts, new editingtechniques, and platform-optimized content
- Supportlive event coverage, including regular Sunday services and special events
- Ensuredeliverables are optimized for their intended platforms (e.g., vertical framingfor Reels/TikTok, engagement-driven edits for social media)
- Collaboratewith ministry leaders and team members, understanding their needs and guidingthem toward creative excellence
- Maintainorganized workflows for media management, including file naming conventions,archiving, and delivery
- Stayinformed on social media trends, retention-based editing practices, andemerging content strategies
- Learnand experiment with AI creative tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, ChatGPT) toenhance efficiency and creativity
- Performother duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
- Proficiencywith Sony or Canon mirrorless/DSLR workflows for photo and vide
- Skilledin DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere and Adobe Lightroom
- Knowledgeof social media platforms, trends, and best practices for digital engagement
- Familiaritywith AI creative tools or a willingness to learn
- Strongattention to detail, with excellent organizational and file management skills
- Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills; able to translate ministry needs intovisual content
- Reliable,deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-pacedenvironment
- Humble,teachable, and open to feedback, with a team-first mindset

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTEDHOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time, exempt position. Standardwork schedule is Sunday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Additional evenings orweekends may be required to support special events, shoots, or major churchwidecampaigns. Regular participation in team meetings, brainstorms, and churchservices is expected.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing theduties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to do the following:
- Ability to sit or stand for extendedperiods while working at a computer or during shoots.
- Manual dexterity sufficient tooperate cameras, audio/lighting equipment, and editing software.
- Ability to lift and transport up to25 pounds of camera/lighting equipment.
- Ability to move around campus andevent spaces to capture content.
- Ability to communicate effectivelyin written and verbal forms.
- Ability to performoccasional reaching, stooping, bending, or crouching
- Ability to workcollaboratively and maintain effective communication with team members andministry staff at all levels of the organization
EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2 years ofprofessional photography/videography experience (agency, freelance, orin-house)
- Strong portfoliodemonstrating both photo and video work
- Experience with social-firstcontent creation (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok-style edits)
- Familiarity with churchor nonprofit culture is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working ona Mac and within cloud-based systems such as Google Drive.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Duties are performedprimarily in an office and creative studio environment, with frequent timespent on campus capturing content during services, rehearsals, and events. Therole may occasionally require working outdoors during seasonal campaigns orspecial projects. The environment is fast-paced, deadline-driven, and highlycollaborative. Noise levels range from moderate in office settings to higherlevels during live events and services.
