About the Role
Asset Based Lending is seeking a strategic, performance-driven content market to lead execution of our email and written content programs. This role blending copywriting expertise with technical marketing skills, writing high-performing content, building and deploying campaigns in Hubspot, and develop SEO-informed blog articles that drive inbound traffic and qualified leads. The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to turn messaging & market opportunities into measurable results. You’ll partner closely with leadership to execute the content strategy and be responsible for bringing it to life across email, blogs, sales materials, and campaign assets. This is a high-impact role that supports lead generation, borrower education, and brand growth ideal for a marketer who can move between writing, analytics, and automation with confidence
Key responsibilities
- Email Marketing Execution: Write, build, and schedule marketing emails using HubSpot; manage automated workflows and nurture sequences; monitor deliverability, A/B test subject lines and CTAs, and report on performance.
- Audience Segmentation & Personalization: Understand borrower personas and lifecycle stages to craft content that engages each audience segment; use behavioral and demographic data to tailor messaging across email and blog.
- Campaign Ideation & Ownership: Collaborate on campaign strategy and own content execution across email, blog, and sales materials; contribute ideas that strengthen engagement, conversion, and brand storytelling.
- Blog Content Development: Write and optimize SEO-driven blog posts aligned to high-intent keywords and borrower needs; use tools like SEMrush to inform strategy, and ensure content supports lead-gen and organic growth.
- Cross-Channel Copywriting: Support campaign and asset development with clear, on-brand copy for flyers, website pages, landing pages, and other sales/marketing materials.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Use HubSpot, GA4, GSC, and Looker Studio to track content performance, surface actionable insights, and recommend optimization strategies across content channels.
- Brand Voice & Messaging Consistency: Ensure every piece of content reinforces ABL’s voice, positioning, and value propositions, whether educating borrowers, nurturing leads, or enabling the sales team.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years in B2B/B2C content or lifecycle marketing, ideally in financial services, fintech, or real estate investing
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub (or similar platforms): workflows, scoring, A/B testing, deliverability tactics
- Proven track record of SEO content success
- Exceptional writing and editing skills—can switch effortlessly between punchy email copy and authoritative long‑form blogs
- Comfortable with analytics & attribution (GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, HubSpot reports)
- Familiarity with design collaboration tools (Figma, Adobe, or Canva)
- Bonus: experience with paid social/email list growth, schema markup, HTML email tweaks, or financial‑regulatory copy
- Requirement: Candidates are required to share a portfolio. Before moving to the final round, an assessment will be required.
