Description of Duties:

Forging Ahead Inc. is a veteran-founded Canadian charity dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through therapeutic blacksmithing and community initiatives.
We are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to manage and grow our online presence. Duties include:

  Creating engaging content (posts, reels, stories, and graphics) for social media platforms.



• 
  

  Developing and executing strategies to expand our audience and increase engagement.



• 
  

  Showcasing our classes, events, and community impact.



• 
  

  Collaborating with our Board and team to align content with our mission and goals.



• 
  

  Potential to work alongside a local production company and gain experience in film and documentary projects

Skills Required:

• 
  

  Strong communication and writing skills.



• 
  

  Creativity in developing compelling social media content.



• 
  

  Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.



• 
  

  Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.



• 
  

  Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or video editing software (an asset).
