Davidson is distinguished in the aerospace and missile defense industry, in part, because of its excellence in hiring exceptional experts, engineers and software developers dedicated to delivering advanced, intelligent technology solutions in defense of our nation.

Davidson is not looking for a CFO who just closes the books--we want a visionary business partner who can translate numbers into strategy and opportunities into growth. If you thrive on building something bigger than spreadsheets, if you see finance as a lever for transformation, and if "status quo" makes you restless, keep reading.

As Davidson's CFO, you're not a back-office executive. You're a strategic architect, a storyteller of numbers, and a driver of innovation. You'll lead financial strategy with a lens on growth, resilience, and value creation-fueling decisions that partner with our team to shape the future of Davidson.

This is not about managing debits and credits. It's about creating clarity in ambiguity, steering through complexity, and inspiring confidence in every stakeholder.

What You'll Do

  • Architect Financial Strategy: Design and execute long-term financial roadmaps aligned with our vision and growth ambitions.
  • Data Storytelling: Turn complex numbers into compelling narratives that inform executive decisions and inspire trust.
  • Growth Catalyst: Partner with the CEO, leadership team and Profit & Loss Center leads to identify new markets, models, and revenue streams.
  • Risk Navigator: Build resilience through smart risk management and agile financial frameworks.
  • Culture Shaper: Lead with transparency, collaboration and empower your team to think beyond traditional finance.
  • Digital Finance Innovator: Leverage technology, automation, and analytics to drive smarter, faster decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • A modern financial leader-part strategist, part innovator, part operator.
  • Experience driving growth in complex environments.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to act decisively when the playbook doesn't exist.
  • Tech-savvy, with a love for systems that make data sing.
  • Exceptional communication skills-able to simplify, clarify, and inspire through data-driven insights.

Why This Role is Different This isn't about maintaining financial order; it's about creating the future. If you're a CFO who wants to be a business partner, growth enabler, and change maker, Davidson is the place to be.
