IMG is a premier interior design and home staging firm based in New York City, known for transforming luxury properties into visually stunning, market-ready spaces. We work closely with real estate agents, developers, and homeowners to create interiors that sell fast. We're seeking a creative, data-driven, and trend-savvy Social Media Strategist to elevate our digital presence and bring our visual storytelling to life.

Role:

The Social Media Strategist will lead our digital content strategy and execution across all social media platforms, with a strong focus on growing brand awareness, driving engagement, and supporting lead generation. This role requires someone with a deep understanding of luxury design aesthetics, NYC real estate trends, and social media best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a results-driven social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Pinterest.
• Plan, create, and schedule visually compelling content (photos, videos, reels, stories) that align with brand identity and marketing goals.
• Partner with the design and staging teams to capture behind-the-scenes content and project transformations
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions)
• Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure content relevance and optimal platform performance.
• Manage the content calendar and oversee community engagement (responding to DMs, comments, etc.)
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and PR teams to support campaigns and launches.
• Identify and coordinate with influencers, stylists, and industry partners for cross-promotions
• Use SEO and hashtag strategies to maximize discoverability.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing social media for a luxury, design, or lifestyle brand (interior design or real estate a major plus)
• Strong portfolio or examples of Instagram and TikTok content that showcase visual storytelling and aesthetic alignment
• Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later/Hootsuite, and basic video editing tools
• Exceptional writing, grammar, and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media insights and pivot strategy as needed
• Passion for interior design, home staging, real estate, and digital culture
• Knowledge of NYC design and real estate markets is a bonus
