Job Title: Private Music Lessons Instructor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Instructor to provide high-quality music education to students of various ages and skill levels.

Currently Seeking:

• Piano Instructor - 1 position currently available!(Early Childhood)

• Piano Instructor - 2 positions currently available! (Beginner/Intermediate)

Key Responsibilities:

· Teach private music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels, including elementary, middle, and high school students

· Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and use a set curriculum to promote music understanding and appreciation

· Instruct students in music theory, performance techniques, including vocal and/or instrumental skills

· Prepare students for recitals

· Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to develop and implement music programs and events

· Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and music program events

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field OR comparable experience

· Proven experience as a music teacher or instructor

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels

· Familiarity with teaching creatively to reach students at their level

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity or experience with MyMusicStaff (MMS) teaching software
· Familiarity or experience with teaching from the Faber Piano Adventures curriculum

Pay range: Hourly + lesson bonus and opportunities for more income if interested in teaching classes, camps and workshops!
