The Hannah Senesh Community Day School, a progressive, independent K–8 Jewish school in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, is seeking a Music Director for our afterschool musical theater program. This fall’s production will be Disney’s Frozen.

Details:

• Who: 3rd–6th grade students
• When: Tuesdays, 4:00–5:00 PM (September 2, 2025 – January 20, 2026)

Responsibilities:

• Provide live musical accompaniment at weekly rehearsals
• Teach and coach students on their singing parts
• Collaborate with the theater director to prepare students for the performance

Performance: One daytime show during the week of January 20, 2026

Compensation: $75 per class hour

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching or directing music with children (elementary/middle school)
• Collaborative and enthusiastic about musical theater
