ICONMA is hiring: Technical Writer in Mountain View

Our Client, a Technology company, is looking for a Technical Writer for their Mountain View, CA location.

Responsibilities:

• Review and edit content to improve accuracy, clarity, conciseness, and organization to better meet users' needs.
• Plan and research content and information architecture for medium-sized projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Participate in planning and prioritization meetings with stakeholders (e.g., engineers, product managers, legal, marketing, customers) to understand user needs and align content accordingly.
• Manage expectations and maintain stakeholder relationships with minimal guidance.
• Update content based on product changes and user feedback, removing outdated content as needed.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create content based on project goals and user needs.
• Apply appropriate information architecture, format, voice, and style based on the audience and purpose.
• Prepare drafts for review and ensure content quality through iteration with minimal guidance.

• At least 5 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer portals, CS courses, open source documentation)
• At least 2 years of experience with a technical background working alongside software developers
• Understanding of modern web-based API usage, including OAuth and API client libraries
• Willingness to learn and document new web technologies
