Your messaging is clear and concise, and your medical expertise allows you to convey high-level scientific knowledge in meaningful ways. You will support content development across multiple clients and disease areas. You will:
- Develop scientific educational content, including slide decks, messaging documents, and publications (posters, manuscripts).
- Conduct literature searches and desktop research to understand new therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with internal medical teams to develop content for educational programs in slides, text, and videos/scripts.
- Participate in client meetings to review content and gather feedback.
- Ensure content is scientifically accurate and supported by references.
- Create visual representations of complex data to aid understanding.
- Perform fact-checking and quality control on content developed by others.
- Update content based on feedback from internal and client teams.
- Work with account and medical teams to track project deadlines.
- Develop knowledge in multiple disease areas; experience in kidney disease and/or immunology is a plus but not required.
- Build understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and clinical development cycle.
- Prioritize and organize workload, managing multiple workstreams.
- Understand client expectations and participate in client meetings.
- Travel may be required around 10% of the time for conferences or client visits.
Essential Requirements:
- Education: PhD, MD, PharmD
- 0-1 years of experience in pharma or medical communication agency
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Team player in a large team environment
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex information
- Effective communication of medical/technical information to diverse audiences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Efficiently prioritize tasks and communicate resource challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Requirements:
- Experience with EndNote reference management
- Experience with Prism GraphPad
The annual base salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, depending on qualifications and skills. Some positions may include bonuses or commissions based on performance.
