Are you a skilled Technical Writer with a passion for transforming complex information into clear and concise content? A leading financial services organization is seeking a talented individual to join their team and help clean up and maintain their existing technical documentation. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives on organization, has a sharp eye for detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing developer-facing technical content, including guides, FAQs, and product specifications. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation that supports the merchant integration experience. This is a maintenance-focused project, so your day-to-day will involve updating and cleaning up existing files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and easy to access.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, training materials, and API documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Manage and organize content within a Content Management System (CMS) to ensure easy access.
• Review and update existing documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in creating training materials and troubleshooting resources.
  
  
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience as a technical writer, with a focus on API documentation.
• Strong understanding of content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Experience with markup languages like DITA, HTML, XML, or CSS.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Solid Excel skills, including experience with macros and power queries.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.
