Per Diem Music Therapist – Hospice Care
Soleil Hospice
Soleil Hospice is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our compassionate interdisciplinary team on a per diem basis. This role uses the power of music to support patients and families at the end of life, enhancing comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized music therapy sessions to hospice patients and families in homes, facilities, or inpatient settings.
Support relaxation, pain management, emotional expression, and family connection.
Collaborate with the hospice care team and document patient progress.
Offer bereavement and grief support through music when appropriate.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy (AMTA-accredited).
Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required.
Hospice or healthcare experience preferred.
Compassionate, flexible, and comfortable working independently in varied settings.
Reliable transportation required.
