Senior UX Designer User-Centered Web & Application Design for Public Education
Austin, Texas (Hybrid)--- Only
Need Overall 10+Years of experience
3 References from the recent projects are must.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8 years of Experience in software product development, digital design, UX/UI, or related field
• 8 years of Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
• 8 years Experience conducting user and usability research
• 5 years Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills
• 5 years Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
• 4 years of Direct experience leading large-scale UX/UI efforts
• 4-year Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• 3 years Experience ensuring designs and websites meet federal accessibility guidelines.
• 1 year Portfolio of user research, visual design, and usability studies showing professionalism.

:

• 3 years of Experience with Atlassian Jira.
• 2 years of Experience working with TEA or another state/local education agency.

Specific Skills:

• UX/UI design and wireframing (Figma or similar tools).
• User research and usability testing.
• Accessibility compliance (Section 508/WCAG).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Requirements gathering and documentation.
• Process analysis and workflow design.
• Agile/Scrum collaboration.
• Jira for project tracking ().
